Taping

Taping - it is putting a non-stretchable or elastic, not saturated with any drug patch, in very specific way. Depending on the type of patch, way, and place of application it gives different results.
Taping is used in analgesic, orthopedic, neurologic, post-surgery physiotherapy
When taping is used?  In treatment of motor organs dysfunction in order to reduce the pain, swelling, making the healing process faster, mechanical correction, stabilization improvement among the other in the following cases:
spine pain, shoulder pain afflictions, knee pains (e.g. afflictions caused by the patellofemoral joint),  inflammation of tendon sheaths (eg in the area of the wrist), pain of attachment areas (e.g. tennis elbow), conditions after luxation of joints, hallux, pain coming from the Achilles tendon, swelling, instability of joints, muscle injuries, injuries of ligaments, better stabilization, improvement of healing processes after injuries and surgeries (e.g. after reconstruction of the cruciate ligament).
correction of posture (e.g. scoliosis), hematoma, scars, an increase of abilities and performance but also a decrease of injury risk during sports.
